Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Muzira Labs LLC (“Muzira Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with www.muziralabs.com, communications you send us, and AI assistants and plugins published by Muzira Labs that link to this policy. It covers shared data practices across those experiences, without requiring each assistant to be listed by name.

This policy describes Muzira Labs’ role. It does not replace the privacy policies of ChatGPT, music and streaming platforms, retailers, or other services you choose to use. Those providers control their own processing and account settings.

A product-specific privacy notice may supplement this policy when an experience has additional data practices. Separately operated Muzira Labs apps with accounts, stored profiles, payments, or other server features need a notice describing those features; this policy does not imply that they operate like an instructions-only plugin.

AI assistants and plugins

What you choose to provide

Depending on the task, you may provide prompts, preferences, contextual details, documents, images, or other content to the AI platform hosting an assistant. Provide only what is needed for your request. Avoid sharing passwords, payment credentials, identification documents, or unnecessary personal information. An assistant’s subject or branding does not expand the information Muzira Labs receives.

Assistants made of instructions and reference files

When a Muzira Labs assistant or plugin consists only of instructions and reference files, with no connection to a Muzira Labs service, it does not itself create a Muzira Labs account or transmit your conversations or uploads to a Muzira Labs server. The AI platform still processes the information used in your session. This description applies to that deployment type, not to every separately accessed website, app, or integration.

The hosting platform’s role

The hosting platform processes prompts, uploads, responses, and any available memory or tools used in your session. Its policies, your account type, and your settings govern its retention, model improvement, account access, sharing, and deletion practices. For ChatGPT, see OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and your ChatGPT privacy and data controls. For another host, consult that provider’s policy and settings. Muzira Labs cannot change or delete information held in your platform account on your behalf.

Connections, external services, and support

If you choose to use search, connected apps, external tools, or links to other services, those services may process information under their own policies. Review the connection permissions and applicable notices before sharing information. A platform’s connected service is not necessarily operated by Muzira Labs.

If an experience sends information to a Muzira Labs service, its privacy notice must describe the information received, the purposes, relevant providers or recipients, retention, and choices or deletion options. The instructions-only description above does not apply to that processing. We will update this policy or provide a product-specific notice before introducing additional Muzira Labs data collection.

If you email us for support or feedback, including if you choose to share a conversation or screenshot, we receive the information you send. The use, sharing, retention, and privacy-request sections below apply to those communications.

Gaston’s current deployment

Gaston by Muzira Labs currently uses instructions and reference files without a separate Muzira Labs conversation server, account system, or payment collection feature. It does not itself place wine orders. Its wine guidance is intended for adults of legal drinking age where they are located.

New assistants and changed practices

A new assistant using the same practices described here can use this policy without a separate name-by-name policy entry. New kinds of collection, storage, sharing, or use require an updated policy or a relevant product-specific notice. A new name does not authorize new data practices.

Information we handle

Information you choose to send

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message or attachments.

Technical and usage information

When you visit the site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring information, and security or diagnostic events. We may also receive aggregate usage information, such as page-view and visitor counts.

Cookies and tracking

Muzira Labs does not currently use advertising pixels or behavioral advertising trackers on this site, and the site does not set its own advertising cookies.

Our hosting provider may use essential technologies needed to deliver, secure, and measure the site. If you follow a link to another service, that service may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
• To understand site performance and aggregate usage.
• To respond to messages and requests you send us.
• To comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect people and the site from harm.

How information may be shared

We may share information with service providers that help us host, protect, maintain, or operate the site; when required by law or a valid legal process; when needed to protect rights, safety, or security; or in connection with a business reorganization, financing, merger, or sale.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use personal information collected through this site for targeted advertising.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to communications, maintaining security, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Technical logs may be retained according to our providers’ operational and security practices.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You may also object to or restrict certain uses where applicable.

To make a privacy request, email contact@muziralabs.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date at the top of the page.
